NSCN(K)

NSCN(K) is the Khaplang fraction of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim, a separatist organization active in Nagaland. It is active is parts of Nagaland and Naga-dominated regions of Myanmar. Its main rival is NSCN(IM). The Indian government is holding peace talks with NSCN(IM) but not with NSCN(K), though NSCN(K) and GOI have been maintaining a ceasefire since 2001.
The NSCN(K) is allied with many other insurgent groups from Northeast India, most notably the ULFA.
