Mamoni Raisom Goswami

Mamoni Raisom Goswami (Indira Goswami) (1942-) is a prolific writer and academic from Assam. In her novels and essays, she has highlighted women's issues. Her particular literary contribution has been the use of Kamrupi dialect in her novels. In her academic pursuits, she is an erudite scholar on the different narrations of the Ramayana.
