Chandraprakash Saikia

Chandraprakash Saikia (1927-) is a well-known author and journalist. He is the editor of the magazine "Goriyoxi".

Chandraprakash Saikia received the Sahitya Academy Award (India) in 1995 for his novel "Mohaarothi". His other published books include "Nirbaasito Xompaadokiyo", "Meghmollaar", "Jonmaantor" and "Dristikoon".

Chandraprakash Saikia was the President of Oxom Xaahityo Xobhaa in 1999.
