Brajanath Sarmah

Brajanath Sarmah was born on the 15th of September, 1894 in the village of Sila (Xilaa) in the Bohori area of Borpeta. His parents were Padmananth Sarmah and Nareswari Dewi.

Brajanath Sarmah was a stage actor and started "Xilaa Kalika Opera Pary" in 1921. in 1924, he started the "Dokhin Gonokgari Opera Party". In 1930, he founded the "Assam Kohinoor Opera Party".
