Atul Chandra Hazarika

Atul Chandra Hazarika (1903-1986) was born in 1903. He was a poet, author of children's books, a playwright, and an educationist in one. He was the President of Oxom Xaahitya Xobhaa in 1959. He received the Sahitya A Academy (India) Award for his book "Monsolekhaa".
Atul Chandra Hazarika's published works of poetry are "Monimaalaa", "Paansojonyo", "Mukutaamaalaa", "Monmaadhuri", "Monikut", "Topoobon", "Naatok-Norokaaxur", "Beulaa", "Konouj Ku~wori", "Xokuntolaa", "Sotropoti Shivaji", "Osrutirtho", "Morjiyaanaa", and "Kurukhetra". His published children's books are "Isopor Xaadhu", "Loraar Jaatok", "Kothaa Doxom", "Opesworis Dex", "Kothaa Kirton", "Raamaayonor Roh-ghoraa", and "Andersonor Aaadi".
Atul Chandra Hazarika was awarded titles such as "Padmasri" (Government of India) and Xaahityaasaaryo (Oxom Xaahitya Xobhaa).
